East Kirkby Parish council Meeting
25th March 2021 – Via Teams 19.00 start
Present: Cllrs B Nowicki (Chairman), C Brandwood, D Brown, C Roe, Cllr V Lingard, JH Mussett (Clerk)
Apologies: None
Precept: Due to an administrative error no precept was allocated for the forthcoming financial year. This was discussed at the extraordinary meeting, held on 25th March 2021 starting at 19.00. Given the difficult, and financially challenging past twelve months for everyone, the Parish Council, with a unanimous vote, decided to forego the precept for upcoming financial year. The Parish Council will use its reserves to meet financial obligations.
This will result in a small reduction in the council tax bill for the East Kirkby parishioners.
Chairman thanked the councillors for their attendance and contributions. Meeting closed at 19.30.
